Using RAS to change your password:

1. Go to https://ras.bownet.org/userportal/signin
2. Login with your SAU issued email account
3. Select "Change Password" from the account menu (upper right corner)
4. Enter your current password into the "old  password" field
5. Enter your new password twice in the next two fields (spelled the same way both times) it must meet the password requirements listed below.
6. Press OK

Password Requirements:

• Your new password has to at least 12 characters in length

• Your new password cannot contain your name or username, first name, or last name

• Your new password must meet 3 of the following 4 criteria:

  • Include one uppercase character (A, B, C)
  • Include one lowercase character (a, b, c)
  • Include one number (1, 2, 3)
  • Include one non-alphanumeric character (!, @, #)
